Pharmacies is currently seeking a Pharmacy
Manager for Paragon Lake Country Pharmacy in Lake Country, BC.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic,
professional pharmacist who is interested in leading an energetic pharmacy team.
He or she will manage the operational and financial performance of the pharmacy
and provide leadership and direction to ensure the pharmacy operates in
accordance to Company policy and procedures, professional standards, provincial
and federal regulations.
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
· Ensure
all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently and safely.
· To
lead and coach the pharmacy team in the implementation of professional and
community based pharmacy.
· Development
and execution of short and long term business plans to grow the department’s
revenue and profitability.
· Increase
sales volume, drive sales increase and increase departmental profit
· To
achieve all fiscal targets and business development expectations by developing
new business, growing current business, and growing the stores involvement in
the local community
· Manage
workflow in the dispensary
· Manage
the pharmaceutical inventory and pharmacy software system.
· Maintain
file integrity of patient files and narcotics register.
· Various
personnel duties including scheduling, performance reviews, training, coaching,
recruitment and interviewing.
Job Requirements:
· Licensed
by the BC College
of Pharmacists
· Minimum
3 years as a staff pharmacist
· Strong
leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
· Effective
communication (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills
· Strong
understanding of pharmacy software systems
· Encourages
and fosters team development
This position reports to Curtis
Omelchuk, Regional Pharmacy Manager for Paragon Pharmacies. Compensation and bonus structure will be

This position starts September 1, 2008 and is full-time (40 hrs/week), mostly Monday – Friday, with possible weekend shifts during busy times of year.
